The Witch is an unholy magic class with a focus on debilitating and debuffing your enemies - along with toying with your own life force. Best used in tandem with the raw offensive capability of Wizard, and the supporting skills of Necromancer.

Wrangling such dark magic demands great Intelligence and Endurance, as well as a small amount of Charisma.

How to Unlock[]

The Witch can be found at an alternative end of Gloomy Path (Lvl 2). You can learn about her through a drunk in Eston's tavern, who will reward you with 2 gold once you return to him if you tell him the truth, being that you found her. Once you find her, she asks you to get a Book from Eston. Going to the town's academy you'll be told that they may hold her textbook in the dungeons, and you're guided to the Eston Dungeon (Lvl 3), located in the same town. In front of the Dungeon door there are two guards; you can kill them, bribe them with 500 gold or convince them to let you pass using your Charisma (9 CHR required?). Enter the Dungeon and find the book in a chest (never take its offer of XP!). Take it to the Witch and she will offer to train you, and she'll move to the academy in the Capital; she wanders between the bookshelves in the top-left corner.

If you open the book and release the trapped demon, you will be unable to unlock the Witch class without starting a New Game but will be rewarded with 100 experience points. (Affected by XP gaining passives and accessories)
